About PIP Surfacing

What is PIP Surfacing?

Poured-in-place rubber installation is a mixture of rubber granules and urethane binder, poured onto a surface, spread out and compacted. The rubber surfacing provides a safe surface that helps reduce the number of injuries related to falls in playgrounds.

The rubber surface stays in place and wheelchair-accessible.  The main advantage of PIP installation on playgrounds are it's consistent impact-absorbing qualities and it tends to have better impact attenuation properties.

CSA Z614:20 Standard

Solid State Rubber Paving is a Canadian Certified Playground Inspector and knowledgeable on Children's Playground Equipment and Surfacing.

We focus on safety and we go above and beyond minimum code.

ANNEX H of the CSA Z614:20 Standard

Children's playgrounds and equipment that are accessible to person with disabilities.

We make sure that our installation is properly installed to achieve the safety of everyone.
